Special Edition

Triumph Tiger 1050 SE

SE. Special Edition. A Tiger but more. An even more practical version of our ultimate all-rounder.

Taking the standard Tiger 1050 as its base, the SE adds the choice of two exclusive colour schemes and a higher specification that includes our sophisticated ABS system as standard, colour matched panniers and handguards.

Usability has always been a byword for the Tiger. The torquey 1050cc three cylinder engine delivers an infectious sound and feel, boasting the performance specification of a sports bike: braced swingarm, fully adjustable upside down forks, remote spring preload and adjustable rear monoshock, twin floating front discs with four piston radial calipers and 17 inch wheels with 120/180 profile sports tyres.

The tall riding position gives a commanding view over the traffic, making overtaking and filtering easy through rush hour traffic. Hit the highway and you will revel in the muscular 1050cc triple which, combined with powerful brakes and a high-specification sporty chassis, make carving through the twisties a real pleasure. And for the long haul the ergonomically designed seat with screen and fairing ensures a comfortable ride regardless of distance.

The result is a motorcycle with an unparalleled all-round ability, capable of commuting, scratching and touring in equal quantities and is priced at £9,499 OTR (price effective from 1st Jan 2010).

The Tiger SE. Ready for anything.

Triumph Speed Triple 1050 SE

The daddy. The streetfighting champion of the world. Triumph’s Speed Triple is a modern day classic, a perfect expression of the stripped-down, ready for action naked sportsbike.

Many have come and gone since the first Speed Triple created the class in 1994 but the latest incarnation of Triumph’s naked sportster still rules the roost.

At 132PS, the Speed Triple has the most powerful version of the 1050cc three-cylinder engine snarling beneath the rider. Stripped for action from its iconic twin headlamps to the stubby rear end, the high-specification of the Speed Triple shines through. Make no mistake, this is no dumbed down sportsbike with the fairing off. This is the real deal.

From the adjustable 43mm upside down forks to the four-piston Brembo brakes and tapered aluminium Magura handlebars, the Speed Triple is dripping with quality components from head to toe. Touches like the single sided swingarm and multi spoke alloy wheels complete the unmistakable Speed Triple look, with the stubby dual exhausts delivering the unique three-cylinder soundtrack in booming stereo..
