RIDE REVIEWS...

REVIEW of Sundays ride to BSB Thruxton.
Seven of us rode up to Thruxton to what turned out to be the opening round of this years British Superbikes. Weather was kind and the sun actually came out! There was a good crowd as usual and it was great to see Triumph on the podium in the Super Sport race, in fact, there were about six or seven 675's racing, a testimant to the quality and performance of that machine. The races produced the usual thrills and spills and we were all amazed at the ' Rossi style ' late breaking of the 675 Daytona, undertaking the HM Plant Honda several times at the 'S' bend, to continually contest 1st & 2nd place. We had a good ride back home so thanks to those of you that came along, great to meet you and look forward to seeing you at either the monthly RAT meet or on the next ride-out. Rich

REVIEW of Sunday 20th April, Ride to West Bay.  On a chilly snowy April morning we braved the elements and rode via Chard and Axminster to Westbay for breakfast. The THREE of us that went thoroughly enjoyed the ride, returning via Honiton. Roads were good and the sun was out, and it was nice to finally get on the Tiger for a spin. We met a nice group of guys down there who sometimes go out with Bridge at Exeter. They went to Westbay as Bridge told them that we would be riding there, so they came along to join in. We had a 'yap' and some grub and said our goodbye's. Hopefully we can get more of you out riding once we have sorted the communication issues-watch out for a letter arriving from Total Triumph. Thanks Rich.

REVIEW of Sunday 24th February, Ride to Bude.
Thanks to those of you that turned up for our Ride to lovely Bude, even though the ride down was a bit damp! Negotiating the mud on the road kept us all alert but we were rewarded by some blue skies over Crooklets Beach, Bude. It was nice to get a comment that it was good to leave AND return as a group, and that's my philosophy -we are a club! The return ride was good and especially after being complimented on our riding skills by an Unmarked Police Bike. Not so good for Gary though -who was then 'nicked' for his smaller than legal rear plate!!
Thanks again and be good to see you all on the next ride. Rich.
